Our children support services aim to promote the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents, enhance their coping skills, and facilitate healthy development.
Counselling and Therapy
This may involve individual, group, or family therapy sessions facilitated by qualified psychologists or therapists. Therapy aims to help children explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours in a safe and supportive environment.
Parental Guidance and Support
Offering guidance and support to parents and caregivers to help them understand and effectively respond to their child’s emotional needs. This may involve parenting workshops, counselling sessions, or family therapy.
Behavioural Interventions
Implementing behavioural strategies and interventions to address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or conduct problems.
Psychoeducation
Providing children and their families with information and resources about mental health issues, coping strategies, and ways to promote emotional well-being.
